Materials Management Associate – Receiving (1st shift)

Primary Location: Eagan, MN, US

• Coordinates work processes and product flow to meet the requirements of job specifications and daily schedules.
• Updates schedules and communicates changes to appropriate contacts as needed.
• Investigates and follows up with issue resolution; communicating to appropriate internal and external contacts.
• May levarage systems (SAP, Worldship, Clippership) to generate subscription lists.
• Collects data and generates reporting as needed.
• May coordinate fleet maintenance and training.
• Uses SAP or MII to record and/or monitor movement of materials or finished goods.
• Accurately completes any necessary paperwork, which may include permits.
• Troubleshoots most questions, problems, system or equipment issues, involving supervisors or technicians as needed.
• May perform duties of Materials Management Specialist 2; operating power lift equipment according to safety guidelines.
• Participates on project teams as needed.
• Meets established department productivity and quality standards.
• Participates in, sustains and helps implement housekeeping procedures.
• Recommends process improvements; implements process improvements.
• Actively participates in company safety program, including compliance with safety rules.
• May work with postal regulations, transportation methods and UPS Workdship and Clippership systems.
• Communicates effectively to a variety of audiences in both verbal and written form.
• Other duties as apparent or assigned.
