Senior Manager Finance Data and Analytics

Primary Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, IN

Qualifications:  B.Tech/B.E./MCA/MBA Finance or equivalent

Location: Bangalore/ Hyderabad

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum 8+ years working and implementation experience in a fast-paced corporate environment
  • Hands on experience in BI analytics and visualization tools: Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Microsoft Power Suite
  • Experience in SQL, Data Warehouse/Data Lake and data modelling
  • Strong familiarity with Financial systems, data inter-dependencies across numerous systems and participate in system audit
  • Familiarity of any scripting language: Python, PowerShell, VBS
  • Fair understanding of Data Strategy, Data Governance Process
  • Must demonstrate exceptional analytical skills, and a passion for the insights that result from those analyses, together with a strong understanding of the data and collection processes needed to fuel that analysis.

About a Role:

  • Work across finance organization; function as a subject matter expert with an excellent understanding of relevant data, analytics, processes and technologies
  • Lead requirement gathering sessions to collaborate with business to identify right data set, business logic and BI toolset to support decision making process
  • Deliver BI and Analytics capabilities: work with Finance partners to build an accurate, consistent and easy to navigate data visualization and analytics solutions
  • Design and develop planning models to cater financial planning team requirement
  • Work on defining the roadmap and implementing Self-service strategy
  • Work closely with internal technology teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions and ensure meet business expectations
  • Lead Finance transformation engagements involving strategy, operating model design and Decision Support technologies to enable transformation of business
