In the Checkpoint PPC Sales role you will execute all outbound and inbound calls in your respective territory. Reps will call on existing PPC print customers and will upsell print materials and Checkpoint content. The Sales Representative will also be responsible for finding new business through targeted campaigns.

As a Sales Representative at Thomson Reuters, you will play a role in crafting and owning the global knowledge economy. Our products drive global markets and helps professionals around the world make decisions that matter.


  • You will be selling the leader in PPC research products and services to existing customers and new prospects!
  • You will discuss the use of products, emphasizing product features based on analyses of customers' needs and on technical knowledge of product capabilities.
  • You will work with management to refine sales strategy to optimize efficiency and results. You will also initiate sales campaigns in order to meet sales expectations.
  • You will learn and understand Tax & Accounting products and services and how Tax & Accounting products are used in the Accounting, Tax and Finance industry to better represent and sell our products.
  • You will be required to meet or exceed assigned monthly and yearly quotas by negotiating and closing on business. You will also actively contribute to overall Sales Department and Company objectives!
  • You will need to maintain thorough knowledge of production schedule, product and shipping prices, and ensure an accurate and timely process while maintaining customer account information and closing pricing transactions.
  • You will need to maintain accurate and timely customer information across the business by maintaining effective notes.
  • You will own the establishment of an even stronger innovation environment throughout the Tax & Accounting division, and Extend our reach with collaboration opportunities.


Your training will consist of one-on-one time spent with management, chair side observation with tenured sales representatives, & various virtual trainings with product management & systems trainers. We will also enable you to practice your skills through role-playing and mock demo calls.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years successful professional sales experience in a related environment.

  • You are dynamic, confident, and have an outgoing personality. You're a driven individual who is passionate, achievement focused, and motivated by success.
  • Ability to utilize effective selling skills, by exceeding goals.
  • Excellent listening skills, and strong written and social skills.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn technical content in nature and be able to explain and communicate value proposition effectively.
  • Business-to-business sales experience preferred.
