Data Analyst (Level 1), Pricing & Performance

Job Description

YOU AND YOUR TEAM:

You will join the Pricing & Performance Team in Gdynia. Your major responsibility will be to deliver timely and accurate data for Investment Funds. You will develop your knowledge of the international Funds market, core products as well as designing and developing new automated processes for the benefit of the P&P team.

There is a great opportunity to be a part of rapidly changing European fund market due to new EU regulations that aim to ensure safer investment decision making process for the clients. Currently we are in the process of expanding our operations to implement the new MIFID II guidelines.

You will help the team to provide the funds community i.e. financial professional, funds companies and most importantly funds investors with information, analyses and tolls needed by each group to reach their goals in terms of information and investment.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING?

  • Master's degree in Economics/Finance/Programming
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • Practical knowledge of MS Excel
  • Prioritization, organization and communication skills
  • Multitasking skills
  • Team Player, flexible and able to work well with other groups
  • Be willing to gain new knowledge

YOU WILL BE EVEN MORE COMPETITIVE IF:

  • You have Technical e.g. computer literacy, programming, database management, SQL
  • You have ability to delegate and execute upon set targets
  • You have knowledge and interest in Investment Funds content
  • You know how to operate on Thomson Reuters products; Eikon and Lipper for Investment Management

SOME OF DAILY TASKS YOU WILL PERFORM:

  • Support the global Data Teams’ collection and entry of fund content data ensuring best possible timeliness to meet clients’ needs for collective investment data
  • Create and administer various automation initiatives
  • Make recommendations for improving the efficiency of the Data Team and developing new processes to improve on new fund additions
  • Ensure that all data queries internal or external are responded to within a specific time frame
  • Ensure accuracy & timeliness of the information stored in databases and reflected on TR products
