Support Training and Development Internship - Summer 2018

Job Description

As an intern, you will promote Legal Tracker usage by updating and creating online video tutorials, writing and updating help content, and reviewing data metrics to determine areas of improvement for our clients.  

This role supports the Legal Tracker Client Relationship Group - Support team for the U.S. Legal Sales and Customer Support organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Project management: support learning initiatives through analysis, research, document creation, administrative coordination and project tracking
  • Program support: assist with specific learning initiatives that may include metrics reporting and documentation updates
  • Communications:  collaborate with subject matter experts on training needs  and content deliverables
  • Needs analysis: review Q&A metrics and data from our CRM system and website analytics using qualitative and quantitative techniques  
  • Technology: work with various technologies to manage project deliverables and training content by creating and editing online video tutorials
  • Ad-hoc research and analysis to support Training and Development initiatives

Skills & Profile:

  • Creative thinker with ability to bring innovative ideas to the team
  • Strong business acumen, high initiative and detail oriented
  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to develop rapport, and maintain strong working relationships
  • Proven computer and software literacy, with the ability to learn new technology quickly

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Training, Organizational Development, Communications, Human Resources or similar
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and interest in a career in learning and development
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and aptitude for internal business systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

++ This summer internship requires a full-time commitment from late May/early June through mid- to late August, with a potential opportunity to extend into the fall and spring. Thomson Reuters will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position now or in the future. ++
