Senior Product Manager

Job Description

ONESOURCE is looking for a highly motivated Senior Product Manager to join the ONESOURCE Direct Tax Product Management team. The role is responsible for managing, delivering and promoting Direct Tax’s user experience and managing go-to-market activities. Specifically, this position will focus on the combined Income Tax and Tax Provision data management strategy. Our ideal candidate will be an internal and external evangelist for ONESOURCE Direct Tax. You must be a proven leader with tax accounting and compliance expertise from your recent years in a large, complex Corporate Tax department and/or Public Accounting firm. You will meld high level vision and strategy with market feedback to deliver creative and innovative solutions to better the market-leading ONESOURCE solutions. You will need to demonstrate a history of solving complex problems by successfully collaborating with local and distributed teams. You also must be very organized and have a tendency to naturally fall into Project Management duties along with your Product Management responsibilities.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Partner with internal stakeholders and customers to validate requirements and priorities through various forums and refine those requirements for broad market applicability
  • Collaborate with user experience team, business analysts, and developers with a focus on defining cross-product functionality and designing solutions that align with market needs
  • Manage and drive ONESOURCE Direct Tax’s organizational readiness across all market-facing teams for product launches
  • Work with other ONESOURCE Product Management teams and Marketing on collateral and campaigns, ensuring a well planned and executed go-to-market strategy
  • Assist Direct Tax Sales team with poignant and clear product positioning and value propositions
  • Monitor market changes and trends to formulate and communicate competitive product positioning and identify opportunities for current and future product consideration
  • Provide regular updates on Direct Tax’s direction and coordinated release plans to various leadership teams


  • Strong U.S. Federal and International tax experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal, problem solving, negotiating and decision making skills
  • Strong business acumen throughout the product management lifecycle
  • Experience managing dependencies across multiple local and distributed teams
  • Deep analytical skills and ability to draw appropriate conclusions
  • Driven self-starter who thrives as part of a collaborative team


  • 7+ years of experience in Corporate Tax and /or Public Accounting with practical experience in tax compliance and accounting for income taxes
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or tax required, post-grad with a focus on tax preferred
  • Experience with ONEOURCE product suite required
  • Software Product Management or Marketing experience preferred
  • Willing to travel 25%
