Sr. Automation QA Engineer

Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Effectively use the automation and manual testing skills to deliver a quality product.
  • Provide testing sign off on the products assigned
  • Coordinate with team to understand testing bottlenecks
  • Apply modern QA Automation technologies and architectures to rapidly test solutions
  • Collaborate with agile team members to develop clear user stories and testable products that can be deployed in an iterative manner to users

Mandatory requirements:

  • Experience working with various technologies (C# .net, web APIs, SQL, JSON, etc.)
  • Experience in developing UI automation scripts with Selenium WebDriver or QTP
  • Experience with testing tools for JavaScript based applications, (Protractor, Karma, Jasmine, and Selenium)
  • Web applications and RESTful services testing experience is required
  • Demonstrated experience in the development of manual, automation, performance and mobile testing frameworks in an agile environment
  • Strong technical background in testing and designing automation test frameworks
  • Strong proponent of Agile/Lean software development methodology.
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, highly collaborative, dynamic work environment
  • Passionate about new technology and perform technical evaluations.

Optional requirements:

  • Knowledge of CI/CD/DevOps processes and tools like Jenkins
  • Prior experience on high volume websites
  • Experience with Open Source testing tools like Fitnesse
