Dedicated Renewal Specialist, Inside - Government

Job Description

Dedicated Renewal Specialists are an elite group of sales and account management professionals dedicated to protecting revenue across market segments. The Dedicated Renewal Specialist position is specifically focused on securing and growing the revenue in a monthly portfolio of approximately 300 – 500 Westlaw accounts. Renewal Specialists work across a national portfolio of account and renewal opportunities. 

Members of this team earn a fixed base salary and have the ability to earn additional performance based compensation through a variable compensation structure. Value based renewal and sales skills are encouraged in order to develop the growth potential in standard renewal opportunities. 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Meeting monthly renewal volume and revenue requirements
  • Securing long term revenue by targeting multi-year contract goals
  • Assisting with renewal portfolio growth by reaching upsell bonus goals 
  • Conducting demonstrations to position new products effectively 
  • Maintaining an accurate and up-to-date renewal portfolio by meeting business system logging requirements

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience working with legal or law firm organizations preferred 
  • Account management or sales experience required 
  • A demonstrated ability to drive high call or customer contact volume is required 
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are required 
  • Well-developed negotiation skills required
  • High degree of professionalism, customer centricity, and flexibility required
