Business Development Manager, Data Privacy

Job Description

Role Purpose

Grow market share by proactively developing and deploying data privacy sales strategies in collaboration with proposition and market development teams and utilising specialist knowledge to deliver gross sales. The Business Development Manager, Data Privacy, will have a major emphasis on opening up new business, both within existing accounts and new customers.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Actionable Intelligence proposition to maximize sales and revenues, and to meet financial targets
  • Delivers recurring revenues on new data privacy product, generates new opportunities, follows and develops opportunities and leads provided by other sources
  • Provides data privacy domain expertise
  • Maintains existing, and creates new, positive, long-term relationships with data privacy professionals
  • Gathers feedback from customers and prospects, maintains accurate customer contact and opportunity data in the appropriate CRM system
  • Be the product champion for Data Privacy
  • Develops innovative approaches to unlocking revenue opportunities

  • Significant business development/sales experience in data privacy domain
  • Proven knowledge of data privacy domain and business workflow

  • Commercial prioritisation and ability to meet deadlines

Desired Skills & Competencies

  • Ability to understand and interpret fundamental workings and trends within banking, financial services and insurance sectors
  • Intermediate Powerpoint skills

  • Proposition, Sales, Marketing, Product, Services & Support, Finance & Legal

Certifications / Education

  • Undergraduate university degree preferred but not essential
