Job Description

Thomson Reuters Mexico is looking for a FX Relationship Manager to Financial Institutions Business Unit.

Summary

Mexico team seeks for a high energy, motivated professional for promoting Relationship Trading on TR FX venues. 

Candidates will possess excellent oral and written communication skills (in both Spanish & English) and will be working closely with our account manager, technology and sales teams. 

Key candidates must have strong leadership skills, effective diagnostic and problem solving capability, be an innovative thinker and able to deal with high stress situations in a dynamic environment. 

The candidate will have experience in supporting established software , brokerage, trading and/or information services to the Foreign Exchange Financial community. 

They will be a proven self-starter, be able to manage account relationships, provide a high level of customer service and have an efficient level of technical product knowledge.

Scope & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing and managing relationships with the company’s Liquidity Provider banks and corporate clients using Thomson Reuters FX solution suite in Mexico
  • Ensure the firm maximizes trading volume from existing customers
  • Identify new opportunities to grow the revenues of Thomson Reuters FX solution suite at the banks and corporate clients
  • Responsible for developing account strategies, making presentations and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Establish deep relationships in all areas of a client/bank organization - trading, operations and technology
  • Work with Account Managers/Sales to identify additional opportunities for increasing volume and revenue from existing customer base
  • Achieve defined targets of volume and adoption of new products
  • Identify new products or functionality enhancements to address client/bank needs.
  • Involved in internal testing and roll-out of new products and functionality
  • Training on FXall sell side products (Treasury Centre and Settlement Centre) for bank trader/sales as required
  • Training on FXall buy side products (Quick trade, PriceStream)

Performance Target

Given a portfolio of clients:

  • Maintain and grow customer volumes
  • Maintain client footprint
  • Grow footprint and usage of new products at clients
  • Cross sell FX products - FXT, Eikon and Electronic Trading

Skills and Expertise

  • 2 or more years of proven experience in a brokerage firm, trading desk,  FX Sales or FX relationship management. The candidate must be a highly professional, self-motivated and organized individual with a proven track record of exceeding targets.
  • Experience working with an e-trading platform, FX or other financial markets software product via either a vendor or bank is highly desirable
  • Key areas of competence are: Relationship Management, Client Services, E-trading, Business Process Management, Workflow, and Project Management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational capabilities as well as analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Understanding of FX algos, internalization, management of latency, rejects, hit ratios is desirable.

Education

Bachelor's (BA/BS or University degree) degree or equivalent preferable

Fluent in Spanish and English (reading, writing and verbal communication)
