WE ARE LOOKING FOR A NEW COLLEAGUE:

Associate Consultant

YOU AND YOUR TEAM

As a member of the  Global Business Consulting Team (GBC) you will contribute to a team which provides 24/7 premium level pre- and post-sales support to a wide-ranging client base (in particular Investment Banking, Asset Management, Sell-Side Research) across several Thomson Reuters applications, including Eikon Desktop and Eikon for Microsoft Office.

The Global Business Consulting Team is part of the Markets & Applications Specialists organization and helps Thomson Reuters to provide a decisive competitive advantage in the marketplace. Your daily job influences customer satisfaction and can impact client’s decision to buy Thomson Reuters products and services.

SOME OF DAILY TASKS YOU WILL PERFORM:

  • Primarily responsible for supporting clients to resolve their queries via live chat, email and our team’s phone line
  • Provide a high quality, consistent, end-to-end customer experience (both pre & post sales) in the use and interpretation of our products and data; this may include product demonstrations and client training conducted remotely (phone & teleconference)
  • Use your advanced MS Excel and VBA skills to construct detailed spreadsheet and desktop workspaces models that support client research and analysis activities
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and liaise with account and sales teams to ensure a value-added support services
  • Consolidate customer feedback on data and products to further influence product evolution
  • Work together with the technical teams to test and validate product installations
  • Your work may sometimes require occasional coverage at weekends. At the same time the general work schedule can be flexible upon earlier agreement.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING?

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel with Excel modelling and data skills
  • Great knowledge of finance & financial markets (Investment Banking, Investment Management and Equity Research are among the most desirable) and at least BA degree in a related subject
  • Previous experience gained within financial services industry
  • Excellent communication skills and customer approach through face to face and written channels
  • Strong customer relationship and consultancy focus for both internal and external customers

YOU WILL BE EVEN MORE COMPETITIVE IF:

  • You have obtained additional certification to prove your skills e.g. CFA, ACCA, CIMA or related
  • You have expertise in one of the following platforms: Eikon, Datastream, Deals Business Intelligence, VBA, Dealogic, CapIQ, Factset, SNL Financial
