Legal Research, Analysis and Enhancement:
Creates editorial enhancements to help customers understand the context and developments of the law.
Classifies legal information in the form of KeyRules and Drafting Assistant content. as well as other text.
Maintains up to date and accurate text by analyzing and integrating rules, regulations, secondary sources and enacted legislation.
Reviews content rendered as print or electronic products for completeness and accuracy.
Demonstrates competence in Westlaw navigation and on-line research tools.
Meets editorial publishing schedules and quality standards.
Follows editorial style and standards for the department and individual jurisdictions.
Verifies own work and that of other staff as required for accuracy and completeness, and ensures that the information is properly presented and organized.
Maintains and develops legal knowledge and skills training as required to complete work and stay current on legal trends and developments related to the employee’s editorial responsibilities.
Individual and Leadership Development:
Attends and participates in meetings as requested / required.
Participates in the employee evaluation process (both wider feedback and self-evaluation).
Develops knowledge of Thomson Reuters Legal publications and products related to the employee's responsibilities, and those of competitors.
Prioritizes own work.
Understands the roles and responsibilities of each team member and how each role affects production.
Demonstrates competence on company specific systems necessary to perform job functions.
