Senior Pricing Analyst

(1-year contract)


To support the creation, execution and evaluation of pricing programs for online, software and print product lines. This position requires strong communication skills and practical commercial mind set.

This position is responsible for:

  • supporting  the execution of pricing initiatives across multiple functions, including Sales,  Marketing, Finance and Product;
  • performing data analysis, building analytical models, coming up with actionable recommendations, improving methodology based on feedback and fine tuning recommendations.  Working hands on to prepare and validate data, slice and dice data to derive insights, applying business knowledge;
  • performing cost benefit analysis to understand return and success of programs. Presenting recommendations in a clear and concise manner. Collecting feedback, fine tuning recommendations and obtaining sign off to drive implementation;
  • working with the Inside and Outside Sales team to apply the correct price to customer orders and support pricing discrepancies;
  • supporting Customer Service in the execution of customized pricing offers;
  • Supporting the business transformation project, including mapping current processes, identifying gaps and propose process improvements;
  • developing daily, weekly, and monthly pricing reports that offer visibility to pricing and offer opportunities to improve pricing strategies; and
  • performing administrative tasks for existing pricing programs.

You will be a strong team player and will possess:

  • a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university;
  • a minimum of two years of experience in Pricing Analysis;
  • a minimum of two years of experience with Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and BI Reporting tools;
  • strong analytical and problem solving skills, including  financial analysis and modeling;
  • domain knowledge in Pricing and Promotions within complex B2B markets;
  • the ability to tactfully influence, negotiate, and resolve conflicts in order to reach consensus;
  • the ability to work effectively with limited supervision;
  • comfortable executing quickly in a rapidly changing environment; and
  • strong organization and communication skills (interpersonal, written, team collaboration) at all levels and across organizations, including plant leadership team.
