Our Military and Veteran Internship Program is a 12-week paid internship in which you will utilize the invaluable skills from your military background – integrity, determination and adaptability– while learning about our products, services and business. You will be guided by managers and mentors who are committed to your success.

As an intern, you will join our Inside Sales team within our Legal business. This opportunity will allow you to gain valuable hands-on experience in a corporate setting and learn from top industry professionals. This includes building a strong knowledge base about our sales and customer support processes, our customer relationship management (CRM) system and the workflow of an attorney.


  • Lead generation/prospecting
  • Accurately record activities and customer information in CRM system
  • Provide timely, accurate and value-adding service to clients through voice and non-voice channels
  • Attend and participate in sales meetings, product instruction and sales process training to develop sales skills and product knowledge
  • Learn and understand how Thomson Reuters Legal products and services are used in the legal profession in order to assess the applicability of the products to our customers
  • Performs other related duties as identified or assigned


  • Honorably discharged from the US Armed Forces OR current military member serving in the Reserve or National Guard
  • Current Junior or Senior pursuing a bachelor's degree with a major or concentration in Professional Sales, Business, Communication or related field

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong business acumen, high initiative and an achievement orientation
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop rapport, influence others and maintain strong working relationships
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, ability to learn new technology quickly and aptitude for internal business systems
