Quality Engineer (New York, NY)
Position requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field followed by 5 years of experience in a software development quality assurance-related occupation. Experience must include the following, which may be gained concurrently:
5 years of experience in Functional and Non functional testing of Web applications, APIs, Database and Mobile applications. 5 years of experience in software development life cycles, including Agile and Quality Assurance Processes. 5 years of experience in Automation Tools and Technologies including Selenium Web Driver , TestNG, JAVA, SoupUI and JMeter. 3 years of experience with database technologies - SQL, MySQL and SQL Management Studio. 3 years of experience with cross browser testing techniques and strategies including HTML/XHTML/AJAX call validation and Application compatibility. 3 years of experience with like SIP or XMPP and with debugging protocol and network level debugging. 3 years of experience in validation of compliance systems. 3 years of experience in Linux, including Linux file systems commands (df,lsof,ls), Linux package managers (RPM,Zypper,tar), linux networking (netstat,telnet,tcpdump,netcat), DNS lookup commands and configs (nslookup,resolv.conf ), Vi, FTP and SFTP commands, Linux SSH commands including ssh, sshpass, MySQL running in linux(mysqladmin, mysql, mysqld), Linux openssl certificates command (openssl, grep, inittab file configuration), Java execution and configuration under linux, stunnel. 1 year of experience in source control system, including SVN and GIT.
