Product Operations Manager

Job Description

The Manager of Product Operations for Thomson Reuters Expert Witness Service (TREWS) is responsible for guiding overall effectiveness of the TREWS business. The Manager of Product Operations will define approaches that achieve sales, revenue and profitability targets in partnership with the entire TREWS organization and leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize and monitor business performance, sales and revenue and overall profitability
  • Assist in the design, development, release and maintenance of technology supporting business workflow
  • Identify and assess customer needs, market trends, competitive landscape, and financial opportunity for new products
  • Assist in the creation and/or review of sales and training materials
  • Serve as liaison with relevant cross-functional groups, including Technology, Legal Editorial Operations, Product Marketing, Market Segments, Sales and Account Management, Finance, and Customer Experience Operations
  • Manage partner relationships
  • Occasional travel may be required   


  • 4-year college degree. M.B.A or MS strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years experience leading product management,   product operations or business operations.  
  • Strong influence management skills and be able to effectively deal with ambiguous situations and make decisions
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proven analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy
  • Ability and willingness to develop subject matter expertise in litigation services and Expert placement services.
