Position Summary

The Sales manager is responsible for the sale of print and online advertising and securing event sponsorship to accounts within a designated territory. The Sales Manager will grow sales by identifying potential new accounts, cold calling prospective customers, conducting face to face meetings, providing product demonstrations, negotiating and closing contracts. This is primarily a hunting role, but the role is also responsible for building and maintaining its client relationships. 

Role Responsibilities

  • To attain monthly and annual advertising and sponsorship revenue targets working individually and within the sales team to meet and exceed all assigned sales targets
  • Working with publishing and events team to secure revenue in timely manner
  • Deliver a high level of customer service to existing and new clients
  • Generate new business by identifying, contacting and proposing relevant marketing solution to new clients
  • Working closely with the editorial, event and management teams to consistently improve product and service offerings, and to ensure that fulfillment are delivered timely
  • Provide timely, accurate and informative reports to senior management;
  • Manage pipeline to ensure an adequate number of leads are identified for short and long term sales objectives

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Degree or above
  • At least 3 years of successful advertising and sponsorship sales experience. Candidates with experience working with Hong Kong accounts will be at an advantage.
  • Results driven and customer focused
  • Fluent in English is a must, fluency in Cantonese and Korean an advantage
  • Effective communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Innovative and able to work on own initiative
