Building a marketing UI library for a company of our size is a challenging and rewarding undertaking. Your work will be seen by customers all over the world, and used by teams across the organization both in dedicated webapps and enterprise CMSs such as Adobe Experience Manager to deliver creatively-designed content that puts users’ needs first.
You’ll lead front-end development capabilities as part of a dedicated in-house creative agency resourced to deliver excellence, with control over the full stack. We’re using Sketch to design, crafting standards-based semantic HTML, and operating with modern tools such as webpack, React with ES2017 features and PostCSS-cssnext. With broad influence over architectural decisions, you’ll find a receptive team eager to embrace the latest technologies and contribute back to the open-source community.
We use a modern, collaborative workflow, developing transparently with strong documentation and coding standards. Progressive enhancement is key, and your work will scale intelligently to fit challenging demands in accessibility, usability and internationalization, operating within a tiered model of browser and device support that evolves over time. Testing is central to our development approach, and we keenly pursue browser performance as a core feature. You will propose, implement and measure efforts to automate manual workflows, as well as mentor junior developers in the team.
