Job Description

Do you have a passion for building high impact sales teams and transforming processes to improve business operations and workflow? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are looking for a strategic, experienced and motivated Sales Development and Business Development Operations Manager to join our newly formed Demand Center of Excellence team in the Legal division. 

In this key leadership role, you will be vital to the growth and acceleration of our team by enhancing and improving workflows, reporting, efficiencies, call center management and more. This includes managing 3rd party relationships to test and implement lead generation and lead prospecting across several of our core businesses. Additionally, you will operationalize and improve the efficiency and impact of our newly formed internal BDR (lead prospecting) and SDR (inbound lead qualifying) teams which is growing from 30 to 60 full-time employees in 2018.

This role reports to the Director of Business Development and Sales Development. This is a great opportunity to transform our demand center as it is today and have a greater sales impact across our entire business. 

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
•    Increase results for BDR and SDR teams through process and tools
•    Manage 3rd party call center relationships and work with vendor Account Manager to improve results
•    Travel to 3rd party call center for site visits to train agents, improve quality, and enable the 3rd party to succeed
•    Ensure usage of SFDC and cleanliness to improve tracking
•    Own the SDR and BDR SFDC vision to implement changes we need as we transition to a global instance of SFDC
•    Partner with the Demand Center of Excellence to improve reporting, metrics and dashboards in SFDC
•    Partner with sales, sales operations and segment to ensure alignment, transparency and consistency
•    Own communication plan in partnership with the Director to create consistent cadence to key stakeholders that enable change, highlight results and shares the future vision
•    Manage relationships with tools and technologies purchased to help enable BDR and SDR teams
•    Train and coach sales team on SFDC, sales process, lead forecasting and goal setting
•    Provide executive summaries to Director across multiple teams, and manage and report out weekly activities to ensure data accuracy and drive to goals

You will support our main products like Westlaw, Practical Law, Practical Law Connect and CLEAR. QUALIFICATIONS:
•    Bachelor’s degree required; law degree preferred but not required
•    2-4 years of management experience in sales operations type role
•    Experience growing and scaling a successful sales development and/or business development teams
•    Consistent track record establishing, achieving or exceeding measurable goals
•    Experience successfully working cross-functionally across multiple departments within company (i.e. marketing, sales, operations, etc.)
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SFDC, and CRM Database experience
•    Leadership skills to drive performance, change management, growth, and engagement
•    Positive, enthusiastic teammate
•    Ability to communicate and influence others over the phone and in person
•    Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
•    Demonstrated success in a changing, high paced environment
•    Organizational skills and operational mindset is required
•    Expert in SFDC workflow, lead management and ability to operationalize processes
