The Project Manager will define, scope, initiate and manage large departmental projects with moderate to high risk. Typical scope of the projects will be between 2-3 and 12 months, involve between 2 and 20 FTEs which are cross functional / across multiple geographic locations and be a project that is critical to the company meeting its objectives.
Team members in a Project Manager role are expected to display core competencies such as Project Delivery, Financial Management, Risk Management, Executive Level Reporting, Estimating and Planning. Expected expertise in each of these areas will vary based on job level. This role will also advise and coach more junior members of the project team to ensure superior execution or work across the full portfolio.
Ideally the candidate will have a software development background having moved into project management but now an experienced PM who has recently worked on building complex applications. This is a hands-on role and the candidate must thrive in delivering high quality product under pressure.
It will be a requirement to manage multiple projects simulateously and be responsive to any priority change with a restricted resource pool.
