Job Description

Commodities Content Production Team collects market fundamental data for energy, metals and agriculture markets, as well as weather and freight, such as physical assets, production and consumption, as well as trading and flow statistics.
 

WHY IS THIS JOB IMPORTANT?
Our team is supplying Thomson Reuters products with top quality commodities fundamental data. You will play a crucial role in improving customer experience ensuring data is properly stored, referenced and described, enabling customers take informed trade decision in the commodities markets.
 

SOME OF DAILY TASKS YOU WILL PERFORM:

  • Develop and maintain standards for storing and supporting physical asset data in the databases (you will need to understand several data models to be successful)
  • Manage and deliver projects regarding new and existing physical asset data
  • Lead data quality check projects, ensuring that meta catalogues are up to date, fit for purpose and used by stakeholders as relevant, and data is properly referenced, using these standard rules and approaches enabling efficient downstream data usage and search
  • Communicate & liaise with internal stakeholders for delivering complex projects, including direct contact with business and customers


WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING?

  • Passion to work with different systems and data structures
  • Eagerness to investigate and learn a lot
  • Ability to make decisions and take ownership for them
  • Practical knowledge of MS Excel at intermediate level
  • Basic knowledge of SQL
  • Fluency in English
