The Elektron and Eikon Real Time support team consists of the following three (3) sub-teams: Elektron L1: Operations monitoring and triage of the infrastructure Elektron. The team supports over 4000 servers in different datacenters across the globe in a technical capacity. They perform system and network health monitoring activities, software and hardware support of the proprietary infrastructure and software. Eikon L1: Operations monitoring and triage of the infrastructure Eikon. The team supports over 2000 servers in different datacenters across the globe in a technical capacity. They perform system health monitoring activities, software and hardware support of the proprietary tool. Elektron L2: Operations support and root cause analysis for incidents on the infrastructure electron and its connections to other systems that provide the customer with financial, low latency information. Elektron L2 provides advanced IT support to servers on technical capacity both for hardware and software, build of new systems and deployment of new proprietary and proprietary software.]
Job Duties: Work closely with development and operational support teams globally to ensure the rapid restoration of services issues impacting the Elektron and Eikon platform. Duties include:
Responsible for sending notifications on incidents that disrupt the service of Eikon and Elektron products or that may potentially impact it; Working as a global team to Provide teams/sub-teams with necessary tools to maintain proper communication. Ensure standardization and quality by providing clear processes. Documentation Development - responsible for the creation of support models and escalation paths. Document Sign Off - revisiting any articles that might affect support of the following: Systems, Processes, or Procedures. Process adherence - establish metrics and to measure the team’s work; ensure the processes are being followed; and logically work through problems in Elektron and Eikon to determine their cause and how they can be resolved.
Position requirements: 5 years of experience working in the IT field. Experience must include the following, which may be gained concurrently:
