Role Summary

The Professional Services team provides ONESOURCE technology implementation, consulting and training services to external clients from a variety of industry sectors, often multinational corporations based in the UK and across EMEA.

Due to expansion of the team, we are seeking self-motivated Implementation Analysts with an interest in tax & technology to join the team.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

The responsibilities of this role include working with more senior members of the team throughout the complete product implementation life cycle, for example:

  • Working with clients’ Tax and IT teams to understand their requirements and business processes
  • Implementing the ONESOURCE software for clients – analyzing requirements, designing and documenting the solution, configuring the software to meet client’s needs, testing, supporting the client during rollout, etc.
  • Assisting in preparing and delivering end user training, including training materials
  • Assisting in project management activities including creating and updating project plans and timelines.
  • Resolving customer support issues referred from the helpdesk
  • Engaging with other key teams within the business (e.g. the product, sales and support teams) and external partner organisations
  • Assisting with presales activities – e.g. software demonstrations, scoping new prospects, etc.

Key Relationships

The Implementation Analyst will typically report to an Implementation Consultant or Manager, working as part of the wider EMEA Professional Services team.

Technical / Professional Skills & Competencies

Essential:

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Analytical approach to problem solving
  • Enthusiasm / ‘can-do’ attitude & willingness to work in a fast-paced environment

Desirable:

  • Accounting or tax knowledge or experience. We are particularly interested in hearing from applicants who have knowledge or experience of statutory reporting, tax provision or indirect tax.
  • Experience of working with customers or clients
  • Technology knowledge / experience (e.g. software configuration, programming, database administration, etc.). Intermediate to advanced Excel skills would be an advantage.
  • Language skills, particularly German or Spanish would be advantageous.

Education / Certifications

  • University / undergraduate degree (or equivalent)
  • A-Levels (or equivalent)

Previous work experience in tax or technology is not required as full product & implementation training shall be provided, alongside support for study towards a professional tax qualification (e.g. ATT) – however an interest in accounting / tax and technology is essential.

This role is primarily office-based though there will be some degree of travel to client sites required.
