We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive sales across our Checkpoint solutions targeted at professional services and accounting firms.
Checkpoint is a highly respected solution in the market, which blends cutting-edge technology, editorial insight, time-saving productivity tools, online learning & news updates with intelligent linking to related content and software.
Your key priorities will be new business development, and building increasing value within the clients you establish to achieve overall revenue targets. This is a phone based sales role focused on winning new business (a 'hunter' role). You will attain these results by proactively engaging with new clients and, working with our consulting and leadership team, develop close relationships with customers to understand their business and provide them with a targeted solution.
Skills and experience
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong new business development experience, together with solution selling and consultative sales experience, including demonstrated experience managing long sales cycles. Ideally you will have SaaS sales experience within commerce/accounting or other professional areas, although this is not essential. You will require a real passion for sales, a personal drive for success and a strong determination to achieve your objectives. Additionally, you will have the following:
