Job Description

Thomson Reuters is looking for a talented Senior Full Stack Engineer to join its Marketing Technology development team. Ideal candidate must have proven web application development experience as well as a deep technical background in C#, HTML, CSS, PHP and .net best practices. You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a developer with strong analytical and technical design skills.  

Responsibilities: - Provides technical oversight while writing new software, making modifications to existing software, or integrating software applications and modules in accordance with agreed upon specifications, often created with their leadership. - Creates, reviews, and maintains all required technical documentation/ manual related to assigned software to ensure supportability and reuse. - Develops software using disciplined software development processes, adhering to team/company standards and software best practice guidelines, and corporate policies. - Accountable for the quality of own work delivered within agreed procedures and timeframes and focused on internal and/or external customer needs. - Understands the short term and long-term impact of decisions within the broader scope, especially with respect to technical matters.    - BS degree or higher in Computer Science (or equivalent experience) - At least 5 years’ experience Object Oriented development technologies (ASP.net, C#.net, PHP, Java, etc) - At least 5 years’ experience with HTML, CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript - At least 5 years’ experience Web Services (SOAP, XML, and REST) - Basic knowledge of LINQ, MSSQL (T-SQL) database connections and stored procedures - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - able to understand and convey complex product requirements or technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences - Must also be willing to express new and innovative ideas.
