Sub-Editor, IFR Asia
Location: Hong Kong/Singapore/Sydney

IFR Asia is looking for an experienced sub-editor to edit its coverage of Asia's debt and equity capital markets to the highest standards. The Sub-Editor will work alongside the Desk Editor to check, proof-read and improve copy for multiple real-time and scheduled platforms, including the Thomson Reuters Eikon terminal and IFR newsletters, magazines and websites.
He or she will need to be able to edit quickly and accurately under pressure, and to add context and value to news across the whole range of capital market topics, including bond offerings, IPOs and other forms of equity raisings, bank strategies and staffing, and market regulation.
The successful candidate will need stamina and unfailing attention to detail; strong news judgment; and the ability to quickly turn around copy for final publication.
