Production Editor

(12-month contract)

Purpose:

To ensure data accuracy and provide production support and services for the Directories team.

This position is responsible for:

  • maintaining and updating the database;
  • maintaining data entry requirements by following procedures and data program requirements;
  • processing customer documents by reviewing data, identifying and resolving discrepancies;
  • contacting customers to verify information;
  • completing online research to verify data;
  • ensuring data updates are completed on schedule;
  • responding to customer inquiries;
  • managing proofing and approval processes for print and online products;
  • reviewing product proofs (layout, page flow and consistency); and
  • providing support to sales.

You will be a strong team player and will possess:

  • related work experience;
  • excellent data input skills (accuracy and speed);
  • superior attention to detail;
  • strong organizational skills;
  • strong English verbal and written communication skills;
  • strong interpersonal and people skills;
  • the ability to work under pressure with minimal direction;
  • the ability to manage deadlines while balancing multiple priorities;
  • a customer service mindset; and
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, such as Word and Excel.

Experience with databases will be considered an asset.
