Product Manager, Usage Analytics

Job Description

We are seeking a Product Manager to join our product team with direct ownership and accountability for building out our Usage Analytics platform from the ground up. You will work with highly energetic, cross-functional teams to drive the product strategy and functionality associated with tracking data usage, data visualization, data governance and all aspects along the analytics continuum including standard reporting, ad-hoc reporting, predictive modeling and recommendations, and influence data feedback loops.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and drive the delivery roadmap for usage analytics across technology and business stakeholders
  • Work with product and business teams to understand and document use cases, requirements, data needs, provide in-depth analysis support and share associated insights
  • Understand, monitor, QA, translate, collaborate with product owners to ensure on-going data quality
  • Provide communication on project and sprint status, resource utilization and other usage analytics product details
  • Represent the Usage Analytics team in presentations and meetings, both internally and externally

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of usage and knowledge of business intelligence tools; familiarity with big data platforms such as Hadoop and Amazon Redshift is a plus
  • Experience with data visualization, Tableau and data driven decision support technics
  • A strong proficiency in querying and manipulating large data sets for analytical purposes using SQL-like languages and Python
  • Mature communications ability, with effective presentation skills and the capability to lead, persuade and gain organizational support
  • Ability to understand and apply technology to product development
  • Good attention to detail and ability to QA multiple data sources
