Logistics Associate

(Three, 9-month contract positions)

Purpose:

To work cooperatively and productively to ensure the assigned distribution tasks are executed in a manner consistent with our organizational goals of fulfilling new sales orders and subscription updates in a fast, efficient and accurate manner.

This position is responsible for:

  • performing all order fulfillment functions as required;
  • checking quality of product/components during order fulfillment to ensure me meet our customer’s expectations;
  • providing support to all fulfillment functions;
  • assuring that all shelf stock is updated and re-stocked to fill new orders;
  • assisting with inventory and warehouse management;
  • assuring proper housekeeping and health and safety practices are followed; and
  • all other duties as assigned by the manager.

You will be a strong team player and will possess:

  • previous work experience in a Distribution environment;
  • the ability to multi-task and to work well under pressure and meet deadlines;
  • excellent communications and interpersonal skills;
  • exceptional manual dexterity and a keen eye for detail;
  • good organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize; and
  • PC skills – Microsoft Office and AS400.

Familiarity with the operation of distribution equipment will be considered an asset.
