KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review, redlining, and negotiation of technology contracts like Master Cloud Services Agreements and Software License Agreements
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to mitigate identified risks in the contract language being negotiated and ensure the commercial objectives are fulfilled within the stipulated timeframe 
  • Communicate independently with the client’s business and legal stakeholders with a view of building/strengthening relationship
  • Ensure service delivery in accordance with the agreed project scope, ensuring overall client satisfaction and compliance with SLAs, and actively identifying client needs and ways to fulfill those needs
  • Contribute to, and lead regular communication forums involving internal and external stakeholders
  • Summarize and provide reporting via daily/weekly/monthly metrics packs to internal and external project stakeholders, possibly members of senior management

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

  • Strong subject matter expertise; deep knowledge of and experience with the review, redlining and negotiation of Technology contracts like Master Cloud Services Agreements and Software License Agreements
  • Contract negotiation experience
  • Strong communication, writing and inter-personal skills at all levels, including presentation skills, both formal and informal
  • Highly responsive to the needs of both internal (including reporting managers, other project managers and team members) as well as external clients
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong relationship and people leadership skills - ability to influence without authority, and effectively manage any associated conflict
  • Strong problem solving, analytical, and some experience of the project management skills are desirable

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Licensed Attorney with 10 years of experience or 5 years of experience if in a law firm or in-house

Because this is a contractual role, contractors who accept the position will be hired through Thomson Reuters’ contingent workforce management partner, TalentNet. Contractors will not be employees of Thomson Reuters and will receive a W-2.
