Reuters is seeking a talented reporter in its São Paulo newsroom to cover the transportation industry in Latin America. The successful candidate will bring energy and ideas to a beat that features a potential tie-up of plane makers Boeing and Embraer, big bets by the world’s largest car companies, increasingly competitive air travel markets and fast-growing new technologies such as ride-hailing giant Uber. Teamwork is essential, as well as a proven track record of developing sources to break news and a flair for enterprise reporting that takes our readers beneath the surface of big stories. The new team member will be an integral part of our fast-paced São Paulo newsroom, contributing to reporting efforts across the Brazil file. English fluency is required and experience with Spanish and Portuguese are highly recommended.
