Sales Director, Inside Sales

Job Description

Role Purpose/ Summary:

The Sales Director will lead the Inside Sales Account Management Teams who are accountable for nurturing and growing existing client relationships across all segments within the legal businesses client base.

The Sales Director, Inside Sales reporting into the Vice President Sales is primarily responsible for building and delivering the Inside Sales Account Management Sales Strategy as part of an integrated channel. You will be working with the Sales Leadership team, Sales Operations Director, segment commercial owners and marketing to deliver and support these requirements.

The Sales Director, Inside-Sales will be responsible for implementing effective contact management strategy approach and leading a management team to ensure that Sales People are involved in regular engagement with clients, pipeline growth and ultimately over-achievement against sales target.

Being able to coach Sales Managers to lead their Sales People through an intensive change management programme embedding core TeleSales processes and adopting new technology to drive team members to adopt a new channel approach.

Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

Maintaining and increasing sales of all online & software services.
Reaching and exceeding the targets and goals agreed for Inside Sales Channel.
Actively identifying growth opportunities to deliver revenue requirements.

Driving Activity.
Establishing, maintaining and expanding the customer base at ever increasing levels of productivity.
Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market
Direct responsibility for Inside Sales Management and Senior Account Manager functions

Developing sales strategies and setting stretching targets
Monitoring your Sales teams’ performance and motivating them to reach targets, develop high performers and ensure effective performance improvement plans are maintained where appropriate
Coaching your team Managers to drive performance
Delivering increased sales skills to customer facing staff

Evangelist and Subject Matter Expert for the In-Side Sales discipline – ensure that best practice and innovation within the TeleSales eco-centre is promoted

Interpreting customer feedback to drive sales action plans and customer satisfaction
Keeping up to date with products and competitors

Mange relationships with internal stakeholder groups; finance, HR, strategy, marketing, product, operations.

Leading successful TeleSales teams
Exposure to subscription based information space
Understanding of Sales Process Methodologies

Implementation of SFDC / CRM roll outs

Understanding of Call Centre technologies


Education/ Certifications Required:

Degree level desirable
