Description
The Research Analyst for Corporate Advisory Services supports counterpart analysts in the London office in the research and collection of relevant news and information, processing of data needed for shareholder identification, formatting and producing relevant reports needed the by IR Officers of corporate clients to help them: 1) who are the company shareholders, 2) understand what is impacting the stock’s valuation, and 3) develop an efficient IR program.
Essential Day to Day Responsibilities:
1. Monitors receipt of registers and inputs them into the database.
2. Links Investment Managers to Beneficial Owners; includes further researching for the correct Investment Manager to its specific Beneficial Owner and correcting any data errors found.
3. Prepares shareholder identification reports on a quarterly basis or as required by the clients.
4. To process breakouts or banklists received from different custodian banks and other data sources needed to prepare the SID.
5. In charge for producing worksheets for the report, i.e. List of Shareholders; Detailed Ownership Report; Country of Fund Manager; List of Buyers and Sellers, etc.
6. Produce relevant charts and tables and submits them to their counterpart analysts in Europe.
7. Liaise with counterpart analysts in Europe and Asia for an efficient coordination of tasks, enable accurate processing and report preparation and allow an order submission of the needed reports in a timely fashion.
8. Perform all other functions that may be assigned by the Team Manager from time to time.

Qualifications
Holder of Bachelor’s Degree in Business-related courses , preferably in Business Management or Administration, Finance or Economics.
(1) At least one (1) year of experience from a reputable organization.
(2) Has strong organizational and analytical skills – able to multi-task effectively and efficiently.
(3) Should have good communication skills, has to be fluent in both oral and written English.
(4) Has a keen eye for details, is a team player, fast learner, pro-active, flexible and patient
(5) Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel/Power Point and Word. Should also possess good research skills particularly using the web
Desired Skills:
(1) Has very good telephone skills
(2) Knowledgeable in Visual Basic
