Project Summary -
A new project, EAN needs to be built Platform group. The candidate will join an already existing development team and be involved in database related developments like creating database objects and participate in analysis and design for new projects. He/she will be required to understand the requirement, functional and technical specification and will be involved in writing the queries and testing. The candidate will work closely with System Architects and Technical Leads to ensure that the project and database design meets stringent design standards.
Essential day to day responsibility -
- Responsible for Designing the module assigned.
- Development in C# on .Net Framework 3.5 and ASP.Net and some development on Database.
- Also will be working on WCF and Windows Services.
- Understanding software requirements, and design, development (coding and testing) and support of production software
- Reporting status of assigned work/tasks to the Tech/Project Leader/Manager
- Participate in Meetings and discussion specific to the project.
- Responsible for providing productiion support for the modules assinged on requirement basis.
- Responsible for Peer Review of design and code.

Qualifications
Required Skills -
- 5 to 6 years in the IT or ITES industry, in software development, with a significant experience on C# on .Net Framework 3.5, ASP.Net and Database preferably Oracle 10g and above.
- Very strong skills in WCF and Windows Services and Very good working experience in these.
- Strong skills in Object Oriented Programming
- Good knowledge of PL/SQL Programming on Oracle database.
- Knowledge of XML & HTML.
- Good understanding of basic networking, distributed computing environment and various file transfer/messaging protocols
- Ability to learn and work with complex production software systems
- Good oral and written communication skills
Preferred Skills -
- Knowledge of Financial industry terms and applications.
- Experience in using MS office products.
- Experience in working in a geographically distributed development team
- Excellent in communication, logical and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of SDLC Proces.
- Usage of Version Control
Education -
- Any Engineering Degree(Preferable)/Any Bachelor’s Degree (+16 Years Degree) in Computer Applications, Computer Science or Information Technology .
