Research Analyst

The person hired for this position will be responsible for learning how to navigate and effectively research over 40 online databases that vary in scope, appearance, and functionality. The Research Analyst will need to locate all pertinent marks relevant to each search, analyze the data found, and then manually type the data into a report template.

When hired, the Research Analyst will start by learning how to formulate "variation strategies" and how to navigate through all of the U.S. Title Sources. Once the analyst has learned how to successfully research "titles" in the U.S. Title Sources, they will then learn the language and "citation" structures for reporting this data into an set template. They will begin with Level 1 searches. Once they master Level 1 searches, the analyst moves to Level 2 Searches and finally to Level 3 searches. Once all levels of U.S. Title Searches have been mastered, the analyst will then move on to learn how to conduct Regional Title Searches (Europe, Latin America, U.K., Middle East, Australia/New Zealand, Africa, Canada, and Asia).
