Job Summary: This job revolves around enabling composition team in meeting their operational goals through facilitation of cross-cultural communication (Verbal and Written) between Latin American Sites and Hyderabad by providing translation/Editing support. He /She must also be able to relay concepts and ideas between languages in a quick and accurate manner. Resolves complex problems, verifies the work of others, and prioritizes their own work. May represent content center as a liaison with other sites, business centers and customers.

Essential Responsibilities: 80% - Translation/Editorial/Support: It involves reading through original material and providing translation support as needed by composition team.

It may also involve translating written material from one or more 'source languages' into the 'target language', where ever the content in the source language in not clear.

Proofreading and editing final versions of the proof for grammatical / Content accuracy and formats as required by specific style guidelines.

Creating documentation/training material from the original version written in source language into English language.

Relay concepts and ideas between Editorial and composition team.

20% -Others: Attend conferences and meetings and act as translator to mediate discussion.

Assists in achievement of departmental goals.

Qualifications

PREFERRED Skills and Experience:
- · Minimum Graduate degree/Diploma (C1) in Spanish Language with minimum 1 years relevant experience
- · Proficient in Spanish and English language skills, including vocabulary, spelling, punctuation, grammar, and sentence structure both in written and verbal
- · Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and/or external contacts in Spanish and English
- · Ability to work with team members, contacts from other teams, departments, virtual and off-site teams/vendors or sourcing partners effectively

The AM’s primary focus is on generating new business revenue through both cross selling into existing clients and targeting new prospects with the suite of Thomson Reuters Tax & Accounting products. This will ensure continued growth of the EMEA business unit and consolidation of its market leading position.

Responsibilities:

Lead Generation – The AM will be responsible for generating leads within a pre-defined territory through phone, email and other related campaign activity. Excellent oral and presentation skills are therefore needed to succeed. AMs should also be able to build strong networks both in and outside of their organizations, with the ability to engage with prospects at a senior level.

Questioning and qualification - The AM will prospect senior tax (and in some cases finance and IT) executives and perform a detailed qualification of leads within their territory to uncover clients’ issues. This will require a high degree of self motivation and effective time management. The role will also involve periodic attendance at trade shows, representing the organisation professionally and managing the timely follow up of all leads.

Client interaction - The AM will organise and attend client meetings striving to challenge current thinking in order to deliver unique propositions. This will involve demonstrating sophisticated software solutions and learning and understanding industry best practice to position themselves and the organisation as a thought leader.

Organisation - The AM will work closely with the client on the optimal solution liaising with internal specialists to present easy to understand information back to the client, identifying the potential return on investment. This will involve leveraging an internal team in an organised manner with clear attention to detail, ensuring all deadlines are met.

Results focus – The AM will be targeted on the revenue generated from contracted sales of both software and services. They will have the drive and energy to exceed expectations being able to show true entrepreneurial spirit to maximise opportunities, continually looking to reduce the length of sales cycles and with the tenacity to produce results on a monthly and quarterly basis.

Influencing - The AM will need to persuade both clients and internal contacts to move towards “win-win” situations. The role will require negotiation of key commercial and legal terms and the individual will be adept at making correct and informed business decisions aimed at achieving a positive outcome for both the client and Thomson Reuters.

Analysis - The AM will need a strategic mindset to understand the requirements of large multinationals and how this impacts individual teams. Importantly they will continually analyse the way that they work looking for constant improvement and adaptability to add real value to the customer experience.

Scope & Impact:

The AM will be responsible for an annual revenue target based on new sales. The sales process will involved face to face meetings with clients in the UK and Europe and business travel will be expected, up to 50% of the time.

Relationships: (Internal/External)

The AM will have contact with multi-national organisations within the EMEA market, building relationships specifically within the tax and finance teams. Initial contact will be predominantly done via the phone; however the AM will be expected to visit clients where appropriate.

The AM will be working very closely with other AMs in the team, the Client Services and Professional Services and success will be dependent upon building strong internal alliances. The AM will need to network through the organisation to ensure that they are working with the correct people to deliver the optimum solutions into their client base. Hence excellent interpersonal skills are required.

Qualifications

Skills:

The AM should possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, be computer literate and able to use most common applications as well as a CRM system. They should also be organised, with good commercial acumen and have good attention to detail. They need to be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of solution selling methodology aligning both sales process and buying cycles. In addition the AM will need to be resilient and a proven problem solver with an entrepreneurial mindset. Due to the nature of the industry the AM will be required to grasp complex issues quickly in order to align appropriate solutions.

Education and experience required:
· Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or equivalent is necessary; tax, accounting, business administration, finance, economics or related field preferred
· Previous experience within tax compliance or related field is desirable
· Ability to communicate in Dutch and English is necessary

Special skills and knowledge requirements:
· Ability to identify specific tax requirements and prepare solutions.
· Ability to interact successfully with colleagues and clients.
· Ability to work and learn independently with minimal supervision.
· Experience with Dutch Corporate Tax compliance software, and good level of understanding of Microsoft Excel and Outlook is desirable

· Superior organizational and interpersonal skills
· Strong aptitude for detail
· Must be a self-starter
· Superior communication skills and ability to handle multiple tasks

Position Overview

Oversees the development and implementation of detailed systems.

Oversees the completion of requirement definitions, functional specification, database design, system and technical architecture definition, implementation and unit system testing and development.

Provides both management and technical leadership. Utilizes project management tools to estimate projects and monitor planning and progress techniques.

Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Delivers consulting project activities, ranging from client identification through final invoicing through medium- to long-term engagements requiring varied interpersonal and technical skills.

Technical responsibilities include problem identification, system architecture definition, hardware/software specification and/or design, implementation, testing, client training, and solution deployment. Performance is typically evaluated based on billable hours and contractual deliverables.

Project management activities include interaction with company and client managers and cost/schedule monitoring.

Financial responsibilities include project cost estimating, proposal generation, and invoicing. May participate in sales and proposal presentations in addition to completing ongoing team account activities. Identifies additional product/services opportunities in customer organization. Viewed by customers as a consultant and performance is typically measured by delivery of agreed solutions within budgeted hours.
