Overview

Scope & Impact:
Sales Specialist is a role within the Enterprise Content team for EMEA West Accounts, specialising in the PRD proposition, with a wider understanding of and ability to communicate the challenges faced with growing strategic revenue in the Enterprise Conten propositions, including:
- Pricing & Reference Data (PRD)
- PRD Integration, Distribution & Management
- Legal Entity Propositions
- Evaluated Pricing
- Compitetive Propositions
- Valuation Risk
Responsibilities
- Understand the value propositions, competitive positioning and key selling points of the enterprise Content Propositions
- Proactively prospect for new business by working with account teams and other sources to identify key potential customers and to qualify and develop the leads obtained
- Discuss and understand the client requirements, business priorities and strategy
- Demonstrate a global mindset which is aligned with Customers' short and long-term strategic aims
- Generate leads through engagement with key stakeholders within Customers as well as awareness and attendance of industry events, seminars etc.
- Developing direct high level customer relationships (especially C-level) with decision makers and influencers with Cusomters and 3rd parties
- Be able to demonstrate the services and position the strengths of our propositions
- Take opportunities from identification to close including the management of all contractual, legal and technical requirements
- Keep fully up to date with product developments and roadmaps
- Plan and prioritise sales efforts to ensure that potential future leads are followed up at the appropriate time
- Develop and manage pipeline of recurring / outright opportunities and update information on items within the CRM systems, keeping orders and information flow up to date and accurate
- Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the activities, propositions and threats posed by our competitors in this space
- Work closely with the business divisions to provide meaningful customer feedback and engagement opportunities
- Provide regular, meaningful and structured feedback on all activity and customer issues to the Sales Manager

-Excellent communication skills and the ability to perform in a highly-visiblity and pressured environment to win high-impact change programmes with multiple touchpoints within the customer environment
-Direct and significant experience of the business propositions addressed by content & software products
-Demonstrate collaborative leadership style within the matrix hierarchy of Thomson Reuters as well as demonstrable thought leadership with external clients
-Understanding of the key business drivers within areas such as quantitative analysis, low latency feeds, data distribution and the electronic trading business areas and an ability to articulate and differentiate the unique Thomson Reuters propositions
-A strong team player and excellent communicator within Thomson Reuters
-Proven ability to identify and develop relevant key customer relationships
-Excellent consultative sales skills and proven techniques for negotiating complex agreements
-Self motivated individual with proven track record of consistently securing significant strategic revenue

The successful candidate will be reporting the Sales Specialist Manager, Enterprise Content Europe East.

Market Analyst

We are looking for a candidate to join our gas market analysis department in Oslo, Norway. The department delivers fundamental market data and provides forecasts of supply, demand and price on the European gas markets and of global LNG. The majority of companies trading actively in the UK and European Continental gas markets are subscribing to our analysis services

Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Analyze and forecast supply and demand of the European gas markets
- Analyze and forecast price development of the European gas markets
- Analyze and forecast the global LNG market
- Develop, improve and run quantitative models
- Write market reports
- Improve content and design of our web based analytical tool
- Data handling, data processing and some programming
- Customer contact and product demonstrations

Qualifications

Education/ Qualifications
-Higher education in economics, statistics, mathematics, physics or engineering. Strong academic records.
- Good command of English and proficiency in use of analytical software (ex. Excel, MatLab)
- Some experience in programming (ex. Matlab, Python)
- Experience from relevant market analysis, preferably some LNG knowledgePersonal skills:
-Analytical and structured
- Self-driven, but also a team player
- Good communication skills

Thomson Reuters Global Operations provides the high quality IT service to Thomson Reuters customers all over the world. To ensure the agreed service levels are met, we have the capacity management systems to intensively manage the capacity over 21,000 Thomson Reuters production systems including networks and servers by monitoring the capacity reports generated from each system.

In this role, you will act as a key person who is responsible for identify the problems in Capacity database which stores the capacity reports. The essential activities are ensuring the capacity statistic data completeness, issuing technical problems and performing other administrative tasks related to the Capacity database. Then, escalate the problems to corresponding resolver groups and follow up for the timely resolution.

Key Responsibilities:
-Providing the administrative support for capacity monitoring tool (PAWZ) including adding, removing, updating the data per request.
-Validate the system logs to locate the capacity statistic data problems occurring in the capacity database.
-Escalate incidents with operational and development groups, together with issuing status reports at regular intervals and follow up until satisfactory resolution.
-Provide reports on the capacity stats delivery and communicate to the SBU capacity management groups to ensure the system quality is being maintained.
-Maintaining systems in capacity database with most up-to-date information by validation with other tools and group. Assign performance monitoring profile and configuration accordingly.
-Contribute the value to the capacity management procedures for Thomson Reuters Global Operations by analyzing and reporting the issues found with the capacity management system especially capacity database and its content.

- Co-ordinate with other Lipper data teams globally to ensure that data is maintained appropriately and in accordance with global standards
- Ensure that all data queries internal or external are responded to within a specific time frame.
