Global responsibility for Marketing strategy, subsequent activities and marketing budget for a specific areas within the Elektron businesses. The role has a global scope and supports the Head of Marketing by developing and coordinating Marketing strategy and operational performance. Requires high levels of collaboration across the business and sales channels and works closely with senior executives in the business. This role provides executive management insight using sophisticated quantitative and qualitative methodologies about the markets, products and services, and customers, and helps to develop both short and long-term strategies for competitive differentiation that contribute to solid business results. <br/><br/><b>Responsibilities</b><br/><br/>Leads Global planning, implementation and measurement of the success of specific marketing deliverables in support of specific components of the Elektron Feeds, Platform and Managed Services business. Manages a global virtual team and is accountable for setting the global strategic direction and ensuring the coordination of all marketing activities for the specific business line. Drives the development and implementation of cohesive strategic marketing activities on a global basis, capable of establishing tactical plans and accountable for results. Develops strategic marketing plans through market research, competitive analysis, pricing, customer engagement, and business planning. Gains commitment and guides implementation of these marketing plans to ensure delivery of expected results. Ensures all marketing program deliverables demonstrate value and a return on investment, meet our customers strategic requirements and Thomson Reuters quality standards. Monitors all aspects of key competitors, analyzing their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Develop strategies to meet competitive threats and/or achieve competitive advantage.
