Qualifications

Requirements:

Position Overview

The business analysis role is to engage with the business team, understand the business outcomes that the organisation is looking to deliver and translate these outcomes into functional requirements that can be delivered by the technical teams. Thomson Reuters is seeking qualified HR Analyst candidates for an exciting new opportunity with the firm working with our Workday HRIS roll-out. This position can be based in Boston, MA (preferred) or Eagan, MN. The role is part of a global team that supports a seamless network of systems and services to enable our HR and line management colleagues to be as self-sufficient as possible by integrating human resources management systems, databases, automated workflow, intranets, third party providers and other technologies with key HR processes. Responsible for day to day HR systems support as well as implementing planned system enhancements. This role will provide support to the Global HR Service Delivery function and to special projects as directed.

Responsibilities:
-Troubleshoot Workday configuration and reporting issues to identify and fix root causes.
- Support Workday solution by maintaining organizations, setup data and security role assignments.
- Advise on the proper use of solution functionality including previously enabled reports and other data analysis capabilities.
- Create custom reports to meet business needs where necessary.
- Assist in the creation and review of mass updates to data (EIBs).
- Work with functional experts to produce formal configuration requirements documentation.
- Configure Workday solution to meet business needs, following standard software development lifecycle.
- Analyze software releases to assess impact of new features.
- Develop and execute unit test plans.Scope and Impact:
The job holder will work as part of a global HRIS team to support and enhance HR systems and provide global reporting and analysis to the HR function.

Relationships: Internal/External

Relationship management is primarily internal: Corporate HRIS team; regional HR system users; HR community including HR Managers, and specialty HR areas.

Qualifications

Skills & requirements:
- Knowledge of Workday HCM solution including business process framework, configurable security and report writing tools
- Experience writing business requirements for software solutions
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle methodology
- An expert user of Microsoft Excel and Access reporting and good knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint
- Excellent data manipulation skills; comfortable with dealing with large amounts of data
- Highly analytical, ability to draw conclusions from analysis, ability to make recommendations to HR customers
- Experience in delivering training on systems and processes; have an analytical approach to problem solving and logical approach to work
- Ability to prioritize own workload and deliver work to deadlines
- Takes ownership of problems and uses initiative to follow-up and further investigate any data anomalies
- Continually looks to share and improve working practice in team
- Ability to work effectively in a virtual team settingCertification/Education:

University degree in computer science, mathematics, physical or biological sciences, or related field of study, or related previous work experience.

Job Summary:

You are responsible for interfacing with customers, company sales and/or service representatives to manage all support and feature enhancement requests. In addition to responding to support incidents logged by customers and ensuring proper resolution according to prescribed service level agreements, you will work on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where judgment is required in resolving problems and making routine recommendations. You will receive minimal direction on routine and general problem solving issues.

Job Responsibilities include:
-Provide first line support for customer service requests logged either through the Sabrix Support Network or through the toll free customer hot line. Support includes:
- Researching initial request
- Confirming expectations with the customer
- Resolving requests using existing knowledge base, historical records and/or own experience.
- Follow established escalation procedures to assign request to appropriate level as required.
- Follow up on all open and assigned requests and ensure closed loop process and communication occurs throughout the life cycle of the request.
-Manage and enhance customer support system and knowledge base to encourage further self-service capabilities by customers and partners.
-Evaluate existing customer support plans and procedures. Update as required.
-Assist with other technical and analytical projects as assigned.
-Convey customer feedback to product management and executive staff.
-Maintain a working relationship with all departments

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in business, information systems or computer science or equivalent experience desired.

· 2+ years of equivalent experience including experience with ERP applications and help desk operations.

· Experience with tax automation systems as part of an ERP (Sabrix, Vertex, Taxware etc) is desired

Special skills and knowledge requirements:

· Strong functional business application acumen. Ability to learn new technologies quickly.

· Experience with relational databases desired, not required.

· Experience with Application Servers desired, not required.

· Experience determining and developing requirements for enterprise financial solutions

· Good project management skills and experience

· Ability to manage multiple priorities (adept at multi-tasking)

Client Support Analyst

Overview

The Client Support Analyst is responsible for supporting Thomson Reuters GRC applications. This position requires working with internal & external customers; researching and troubleshooting technical issues related to the software.

Responsibilities
- Answer and resolve service desk issues and cases from local and remote users and offices
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, consistent follow-through to assure problems are resolved and ability to respond to last minute requests
- Develop in-depth Product Knowledge in order to resolve customer questions and issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to communicate with individuals with all levels of technical and non-technical skill sets (i.e. Developers, Project Managers and external Customers)
- Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Software troubleshooting ability for problem research and error isolation.
