A lead role in providing SAP business system support for critical order-to-cash SAP Professional Service Automation module, through collaboration with functional, key business resources, and Finance. Responsible for the oversight of Tax & Accounting SAP Professional Services module for employee account set up, user permissions, and system configurations for SAP Projects, roles, billing rates, hours, and service contracts.

Monitor & reconcile Time & Material projects and resource billing & revenue recognition to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

Monitor & reconcile Fixed Fee projects for hours that are Percent of Completion revenue recognition and completed projects.

Provide information for SOX auditors related to SAP Project Services for external customer billing and recognition.

Customer driven (external & internal) Provide billing detail from SAP to external customer requests

Monitor and reconcile MyExpense for T&E client project billing.

Resolving day-to-day user support issues related to system functionality, performance, efficiency, and training within area of responsibility

Manage and adjust billing limits in SAP per SOW’s and service team

Review service credits as being processed in SAP service contracts and adjust SAP Projects accordingly

Recommend improved functionality to increase visibility and automation to better facilitate business functions

Identify errors in SAP PSA relative to projects and submit SAP tickets and UAT testing on solutions working with Technology resources

Develop and maintain documentation regarding application workflow and business rules on projects

Lead and perform end user support and training

This position supports the VP of Financial Planning and Analysis, working closely with other finance and senior management staff.

This role will be based out of Carrollton, Texas.

Responsibilities include and are not limited to:

Oversight of the Tax & Accounting monthly close analysis and reporting process, including the production & maintenance of FP&A-related close schedules and reporting guidance for the Business Segments

Leading the flash reporting during the financial close processes, including procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy

Partnering with other Tax & Accounting Group FP&A team leaders, Business Segments and Accounting Operations on managing monthly close issue resolutions and monitoring performance against target achievement

Preparing and reviewing financial management reports for monthly or quarterly operating results, for both internal (ongoing) and external (quarterly) release with particular attention to accuracy and growth/variance commentary

Responsible for quarterly external reporting obligations, including reviewing Investor Relations figures and commentary

Responsible for the monthly "Red Book" and "Presidents Report" processes

Utilizing SAP (BW) and Cognos to generate reports, responding to inquiries, conducting research, and identifying and resolving problems

Being one of the lead contacts with central Accounting Service teams across the U.S., U.K., LATAM and India

–

Partnering with the India-based Shared Services Team in producing various close reports to assist the Business Segment and Group functional in close and post-close analysis

–

Ensuring Tax & Accounting business organization structural changes are implemented within relevant managerial reporting schedules, updating SAP, SAS FM and other financial reports

–

Coordinating financial reporting changes with Tax & Accounting Finance Leadership and SAP Master Data team

–

Distributing and monitoring compliance reporting

–

Financial reporting liaison with external auditors

–

Partnering with central Free Cash Flow team to develop accurate forecasts and improve understanding of business cash flow levers

Preparing ad-hoc special projects and analysis for senior management

Qualifications

10+ years of prior work experience in financial analysis or budgeting & forecasting, with strong financial & analytical skills (large company experience and/or software company experience a plus)

Specifically, you will lead the overall business system landscape for IP & Science’s collection of global businesses that will generate $1B in revenue in 2013. The business systems and related operations and processes include the following:

- 50% of IP & Science’s revenue was migrated to One Vision effective August 1, 2012
- The remaining 50% consists of 17 legacy OTC systems that are scheduled to migrate to One Vision during 2014 – 2015 via a series of deployments
- Order Capture (aka Opportunity to Order)
- Will be implementing new solution in Q2 2014
- Salesforce.com (SFDC *) – used for Sales, Account Management and Customer Service

Within Thomson Reuters, the Management Information Systems (MIS) organization is a shared, central resource. IP & Science’s VP, Business Systems, Operations and Processes will be required to operate in a highly matrixed organization. Thus, the ability to influence shared resources in the following areas of Thomson Reuters will be critical:
- MIS
- SAP OTC (One Vision) & other shared program teams
- Finance Operations (Order Fulfillment, invoicing, accounts receivable, cash applications, master data, etc.)

In addition to collaborating with the TR shared resources, this role will also have to closely coordinate with shared functions within IP & Science, such as:
- Sales Operations, Planning & Strategy
- Technology (Product Development)
- Customer Service (Support)
- Marketing, who manages the Enterprise Data Warehouse

This leader will have to work with IP & Science’s decentralized business teams to understand and address impacts of recommended changes, including process, system and organizational impacts.

This role will also lead centralized teams for:
- Pricing – develop common tools, guidelines and policies for pricing to ensure, a consistent pricing approach and methodology across the businesses
- Decision Support – develop and lead a team of analysts to provide standardized enterprise reporting, analytics and metrics for the Opportunity-to-Order (OTO) and OTC areas of the business as well as revenue analytics
- Legacy Deferred Revenue – Manage the process for the recording of and analytics needed for legacy deferred revenue from the legacy OTC systems. This includes ensuring that necessary journal entries and adjustments are prepared timely and accurately. Close coordination with IP & Science FP&A and the centralized Accounting Operations groups will be required.




MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:


- Proactively partner with applicable TR centralized resources to develop a comprehensive roadmap of business systems to drive organic and acquisitive revenue for IP & Science
- Also, maintain and manage roadmap of improvement programs
- Successful deployments of agreed-upon business systems
- Partner with various businesses to implement necessary business process changes to support new or enhanced business systems
- Inform key stakeholders of project deliverables, key milestones and timeframes.
- Work with business teams and technical teams to understand and address impacts of recommended changes, including organizational and system impacts
- Partner with business leaders, MIS, Technology and other colleagues to assess business systems of acquired companies
- Develop integration plans and execute
- Lead the prioritization of maintenance, support and new releases, providing functionality to meet the needs of the business and ensure the stability, availability, and reliability of the business systems
- Develop centralized Pricing strategy and team, aligned with OneVision

Drives the planning, design, implementation, organization, and operation of the company's data communications network. Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS: Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and the process by which to meet goals. Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance. Administers company policies that directly affect subordinate employees. Recommends changes to unit or sub-unit policies. Management reviews work to measure meeting of objectives.

EXPERIENCE: 2 years of experience in leading industry companies such as: Oracle,Cisco,SAP,EDS,HP,IBM.

Desirable to be certified as PMI.

Experience managing regional projects.

Detail Oriented ,Working under presure.

Job Summary:

You are responsible for interfacing with customers, company sales and/or service representatives to manage all support and feature enhancement requests. In addition to responding to support incidents logged by customers and ensuring proper resolution according to prescribed service level agreements, you will work on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where judgment is required in resolving problems and making routine recommendations. You will receive minimal direction on routine and general problem solving issues.

Job Responsibilities include:
-Provide first line support for customer service requests logged either through the Sabrix Support Network or through the toll free customer hot line. Support includes:
- Researching initial request
- Confirming expectations with the customer
- Resolving requests using existing knowledge base, historical records and/or own experience.
- Follow established escalation procedures to assign request to appropriate level as required.
- Follow up on all open and assigned requests and ensure closed loop process and communication occurs throughout the life cycle of the request.
-Manage and enhance customer support system and knowledge base to encourage further self-service capabilities by customers and partners.
-Evaluate existing customer support plans and procedures. Update as required.
-Assist with other technical and analytical projects as assigned.
-Convey customer feedback to product management and executive staff.
-Maintain a working relationship with all departments

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in business, information systems or computer science or equivalent experience desired.

· 2+ years of equivalent experience including experience with ERP applications and help desk operations.

· Experience with tax automation systems as part of an ERP (Sabrix, Vertex, Taxware etc) is desired

Special skills and knowledge requirements:

· Strong functional business application acumen. Ability to learn new technologies quickly.

· Experience with relational databases desired, not required.

· Experience with Application Servers desired, not required.

· Experience determining and developing requirements for enterprise financial solutions

· Good project management skills and experience

· Ability to manage multiple priorities (adept at multi-tasking)

· Commitment to detail and follow through

· Strong interpersonal communication and customer interaction skills

· Must be creative, innovative and flexible with the ability to work in a matrixed environment.

· Detailed understanding of general business and management practices is highly desired

· PC and related software applications.

· ERP applications experience (Oracle Financials, SAP, PeopleSoft, etc) desired.
