The role is focused on program execution. The Platform Manager should be extremely comfortable working within the platform and focused on launching and managing successful multichannel campaigns in a fast-moving environment. Technical knowledge of the Eloqua platform (preferably Eloqua 10) is essential and experience with managing Eloqua setup and initial implementation is strongly preferred.<br/><br/>The role will be responsible for building and executing multichannel marketing campaigns in addition to overseeing data migration and SFDC integration projects. Working closely with both internal stakeholders and external vendors the role will be responsible for the data quality, maintenance, program reporting and metrics, management and integration. The role will be involved with selling a broad range of tax and accounting software products focussing on large multinational organisations including accounting firms. The sales manager will be targeted on the revenue generated from contracted sales of both software and services.<br/><br/><b>Responsibilities:</b><br/>- Prospect senior tax and accounting executives in corporations and accounting firms and perform a detailed qualification of self generated leads within their territory to uncover clients&#8217; issues.<br/>- Involve in periodic attendance at trade shows, representing the organisation professionally and managing the timely follow up of all leads.<br/>- Organise and attend client meetings striving to challenge current thinking in order to deliver unique propositions. This will involve demonstrating sophisticated software solutions and learning and understanding industry best practice to position themselves and the organization as a thought leader.<br/>- Work closely with the client on the optimal solution, liaising with internal specialists to present easy to understand information back to the client, identifying the potential return on investment.<br/>- Negotiate key commercial and legal terms.<br/>- Understand the requirements of large multinationals and how this impacts individual teams.<br/>- Supplement the businesses knowledge of the market and customer needs with further research and investigation to understand and better define the addressable market for the Tax & Accounting products and services and prioritize effort.<br/>- Work with marketing professionals to help develop appropriate marketing plans and collateral to support the sale manager role<b>.</b><br/><br/><b>Qualifications</b><br/>- Degree or equivalent. Tax or Accounting knowledge would be a distinct advantage<br/>- 5- 8 years of solution sales with a proven track record of revenue growth and experience generating leads<br/>- Relevant and demonstrable previous sales experience in a B2B environment, preferably dealing with large MNC, large state-owned enterprises, accounting firms and other listed companies in US/UK.<br/>- Detailed understanding of a solution sales process<br/>- Ability and willingness to generate own leads<br/>- Excellent communication and negotiation skills<br/>- Fluency in spoken and written English required, other Asian languages a plus<br/>- Self motivated and strong personal drive and energy to exceed expectations.<br/>- Experience with SFDC would be beneficial<br/>At Thomson Reuters, we believe what we do matters.
