Purpose:

To position Carswell as the supplier of choice for online products to the Government accounts,

in Ontario. The individual will cultivate new accounts, secure and protect all

existing revenue streams from existing accounts, and will continue to grow overall sector

revenue. Strong business development, account management presentation skills, leadership

require ongoing collaboration with the Sales Manager and with the extended Carswell team to

The individual will work closely with the Account Print Specialist, Regional Learning Consultants, and Marketing Team to create a strategic sales plan, individual account plans and provide a consistent approach for these sectors.

The individual will be actively involved in key associations to develop multi-level relationships with important groups. The individual will be required to act as a spokes person on behalf of these customer segments and to report on existing opportunities and gaps along with providing feedback from the market to the Carswell Management team.



Your duties will include:

· Growing revenue and protecting existing revenue streams – through strong account management skills matched with product knowledge, uncover new revenue opportunities within the government, growing their annual revenue commitments to Carswell. Monitor opportunities within government sector and prime RFP/RFI responses;

· Cultivating new clients: Comfortable cold calling and a high activity level in a competitive market place;

· Developing and Executing a Strategic Plan: Reviewing existing accounts with a view to current services, renewal dates of agreements and developing a strategy to approach the untapped market opportunities. Through ongoing collaboration with Sales Manager, determine priorities in order to successfully achieve revenue targets;

· Managing Account Relationships: Understanding how the public sector operates, develop an effective sales plan and account plans to execute against. Identify the influencers and decision makers and their decision making process for all key accounts; and

· Leveraging key forums to enhance relationships – identifying and leveraging Carswell’s presence at key forums (i.e. Tradeshows, provincial and national events) so as to enhance our relationships within the sector.



Conducting 10 to 12 customer meetings per week on average. These meetings include training facilitations, online presentations and customer meetings:

· identifying and understanding the information and work solution needs of each account and conducting and facilitating presentations to address those needs;

· effectively using Webex/Glancenet to conduct some remote product demonstrations to effectively cover the territory with budget;

The individual will work closely with the corresponding Online Representatives to jointly create a territory plan to ensure full territory coverage and maximize opportunities.



Your duties will include:

· Establishing new accounts within the Federal Government sector and Quebec Market –by building a solid territory planning, researching, and with high levels of prospecting daily;

· Cultivating relationships within existing accounts – by offering exceptional service to all market segments (government, legal, corporate & tax);

· Growing revenue and protecting existing revenue streams – through strong account management skills matched with product knowledge, uncover new revenue opportunities in the territory to grow the annual revenue commitments to Carswell. This knowledge, along with effective proposal writing, will lead to success;

· The Development and Execution of a Strategic Sales Plan: Reviewing existing accounts with a view to current services, future plans/trends, key competitors and their offerings, develop a strategy to approach the market. Through ongoing collaboration of strategy with Sales Manager, you will work to determine priorities in order to successfully achieve revenue targets;

· Managing Key Account Relationships: Development of Account Plans for key accounts with the collaboration with your on-line sales counterpart;

· Leading RFP responses as required;

· Leveraging key forums to enhance relationships – identifying and leveraging Carswell’s presence at key forums (i.e. tradeshows, conferences, national events) in order to enhance our relationships with key groups and organizations;



Administration:

· utilizing CRM tools to record call activity, sales, campaigns, etc. as required;

· reporting monthly, or as required, on all sales activities, market trends, competitor information and individual projects;

· weekly forecasting of sales revenue;

· developing a sales plan with quarterly updates, and key account plans and keep them up to date;

· managing and reporting on all business expenses;

developing proposals to fit client needs.

Qualifications

You will be a strong team player and will possess:

· a post secondary education or equivalent business experience;

· 3+ years of proven telephone sales experience in a high activity level environment;

· excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English & French;

· superb presentation and demonstration skills;

- Provide daily remote or onsite third-line support to clients including logging and monitoring calls in ticket tracking system following Thomson Reuters support process and metrics guidelines
- Measure and analyze incoming software issues to determine root causes and develop technical and training solutions to minimize reoccurrences and severity and report results to manager
- Provide software installations, upgrades and training to client as required
- Work with development to identify and QA test bug fixes and assist QA with software testing depending on product
- Mentor and train junior support analysts in the technical and procedural aspects of support
- Assist Business Analyst with implementation/conversion projects
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in computer or business related field plus a minimum of five years telephone support or combination thereof
- Five years software testing or training experience
- Database experience with Oracle or SQL
- Report writing software experience preferably Crystal Reports
- Ticket tracking software experience
- Assessment or Government Tax experience or knowledge preferred
- Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills
- Business travel may be required as determined at the supervisor’s discretion
- May require extended work schedules, tight deadlines and conflicting priorities
- Must be able to work in a variety of social, cultural, legal, and political environments

Position summary:

The Project Manager will define, scope and manage one or more projects and will work with other management to ensure technical and/or business objectives are achieved.

Team members in a Project Manager role are expected to display core competencies such as Project Scoping & Planning, Project Budgeting, Project Reporting & Controls, Issue/Risk Management, Financial Management, . Expected expertise in each of these areas will vary based on job level.

List major responsibilities of this position:
- Defines, documents and manages projects, working with multiple teams that may have differing priorities and working/cultural practices.
- Delivers projects within the constraints of scope, time and cost to agreed levels of quality, within the organization's governance and project management framework.
- Actively participates in all phases of the project or specific phases of larger projects. Identifies, assesses and manages risks to the success of the project
- Effectively manage project team conflicts, build collaborative partnerships with stakeholders, and , obtain commitment to make decisions
- Estimates costs, timescales and resource requirements for the successful completion of each project to agreed scope and constraints.
- Prepares and maintains project plans and tracks activities against the plan
- Implement effective communication plan and operating rhythm, including provision of regular and accurate reports
- Monitors costs, timescales and resources used, and takes action where these deviate from agreed tolerances. Ensures that deliverables are implemented within these criteria.
- Manages change control gaining agreement for revisions from project stakeholders.
- Provides effective leadership to the project team ensuring members are motivated and developing their skills and experience.
- Provides regular summary and detailed report internally to the Project Management Office and externally to clients
- Participates in the improvement of the Project Management practices, procedures andtemplates and act as champion for team members less experienced in the Project Management area

Qualifications

Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree required in Business, Technology, or one of the key domain areas related to Government - International Professional Services business domains. Master’s Degree in Business orProject Management not required but preferred.
- 5+ years of experience.
- Project Management Certification (PMP) not required but preferred.
- Solid understanding of (and experience in) the implementation processes for technology projects implementation or product implementation
- Sound understanding of (and experiences in) delivering Professional Services operations in a government client setting
- Experience in leading (from contract signing to conclusion) at least 2 mid-size (1 Million plus) projects in one of the following areas: professional services, consulting, system integration, product deployment. At least 1 of the 2 project should be in an international setting. Ability to communicate persuasively and tactfully with all levels of management, co-workers, and customers.

Experience in working in a structure PMO governance model, supporting PMO project monitoring and reporting for mid-size portfolios of technology project
- Experience or knowledge of fundamentals of the PMO function and its supporting processes and tools: status reporting, issues and risk management, resource management, etc...
