Job Description


The role supports sourcing documents for the Fixed Income sourcing team. The analyst hired will be in charge of sourcing Fixed Income documents for Domestic, Foreign, Global & Eurobonds for G20 and other key markets. The documents sourced are used by both internal and external customers and hence there is a need to demonstrate responsiveness to both internal & external customers by proactively accessing customer needs.  Further in this role the analyst will be working closely with the Fixed Income Content teams to help them finalize bonds by providing documents like Prospectus, Term sheets etc. The position is within the Data Operations which supports data across Thomson Reuters products and services.


  • Process and maintain data accurately and in a timely manner onto databases using technical and financial knowledge
  • Communicate & liase with internal and external departments for resolution of data queries
  • Developing expertise in data related issues. Build up knowledge of financial regulations and market practices/conventions in relevant markets
  • Maximise usage of available tools/support to best of advantage to maintain/improve content quality during daily operations
  • Ensure data quality and accuracy as per company standards for the covered product/market
  • Test new database/application releases where appropriate, providing expert user feedback
  • Support specific projects, as assigned by manager
  • Adhere to change control procedures, data operations standards and current data policies and procedures
  • Responsible for delivering high productivity and quality data
  • Proactively identify and resolve data problems
  • Adhoc analysis using SQL and Excel


  • Fluent / advanced in English
  • Good organizational skills
  • Proven attention to detail

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under time pressure
  • Ability to work independently as well as a team member
  • Ability to solve problems and make command decisions when necessary
  • Good knowledge of Word and Excel
  • Communicate by email in a coherent and professional manner
  • Ability to do Intense Research
  • Basic knowledge about financial markets
  • Basic knowledge on SQL

  • You know German language
