Senior Account Manager

Job Description

Within the UK team we currently have an exciting opportunity for a senior account manager position. Based in London the account manager manages and grows his/her book of business, utilizing deep domain knowledge of the clients' business practices. This account manager will be in charge of managing the wider relationships with some of the largest trading houses and exchanges. This is a high profile position and a great challenge for the right individual.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the client relationship to secure existing business and win new business.
  • Establishes strong, long-term customer relationships with key decision makers.
  • Pro-actively leads and executes sales and strategic campaigns for recurring and outright revenue in Thomson Reuter’s product suite.
  • Leads the wider team of client, sales and technical specialists.
  • Provides domain expertise relative to the customer segment.

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of financial institutions, their business model and workflows.
  • Deep understanding of the Thomson Reuters product proposition.
  • Significant experience in dealing with clients in the financial industry.
  • University degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
