Job Description

The ONESOURCE Solution Consulting team is responsible for engaging with prospective and current customers to demonstrate software solutions in an effort to maximize sales and drive revenue growth for the Thomson Reuters Tax & Accounting Corporate Tax Business. 

As a key member of the Solution Consulting team, the POC Implementation Consultant will be responsible for understanding the complexities of a corporate tax department and partnering with internal and external stakeholders to demonstrate the value of ONESOURCE software solutions through pre-sales implementation for specific use cases to enable relevant presentations to strategic accounts. 

The POC Implementation Consultant will partner with the sales team to plan, build examples, determine specific requirements, and presentations of ONESOURCE software solutions. This involves working with clients and prospects to understand their various tax processes, data challenges, tax technology needs, priorities, and resources to ultimately identify and present applicable ONESOURCE software solutions that may help to address their specific business objectives.  Effectively communicating how tax technology can provide process optimization, promote efficiency, and reduce risk inside a corporate tax department is a key objective in this role. 

The POC Implementation Consultant is considered a subject matter expert and is responsible for implementing examples and demonstrating ONESOURCE Operational Transfer Pricing functionality. Implementation Consultants must also have a working knowledge of transfer pricing fundamentals including documentation, comparable analysis, intercompany accounting policies and procedures, and the new OECD BEPS requirements.

Major Accountabilities:

  • Implementing sample intercompany transactions and reporting proof of concepts for ONESOURCE Operational Transfer Pricing products and services in conjunction with the existing account sales and management teams within the target market
  • Strategic planning, coordination, requirement gathering, and execution of custom demonstrations and presentations of ONESOURCE Operational Transfer Pricing products and services to current and prospective customers
  • Scoping implementation services based on client requirements
  • Maintaining knowledge of global transfer pricing landscape including OECD BEPS developments, transfer pricing methods, documentation requirements, and competitive technology offerings


  • Minimum of 4 years corporate tax, accounting firm, or related experience
  • Sales, consulting, services, or project management experience
  • Bachelors degree in accounting or related field
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Creative problem solver
  • Strong transfer pricing and/or international tax technical background with specific experience in implementing transfer pricing procedures and working through the calculation of transfer pricing adjustments/journal entries during the close process
  • Hands-on experience implementing, maintaining, and utilizing transfer pricing calculation models, spreadsheet models, or custom-designed ERP/accounting software models
  • Technically savvy and technology curious
  • Quick learner; ability to work independently
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%

    Additionally, the following are desired for the position:

  • ONESOURCE Operational Transfer Pricing  or other ONESOURCE experience
  • Graduate degree in accounting or related field
  • Professional certification (CPA, EA, CGMA, CITP, Licensed Attorney)
  • Formal presentation experience and technical sales training
  • A thorough knowledge of tax software products and business accounting product markets
