The designer will be in charge of designing two monthly publications and other marketing collaterals. Initially, he/she will be provided a template to work from, but will be gradually be expected to offer their own ideas on magazine production and design.
The magazines are bilingual (English and Chinese), and so it is essential the successful candidate is as well. While based in Hong Kong, the designer will be working with colleagues in Beijing and Singapore, so some experience working in a regional team is useful. Knowledge of design software such as Indesign and Photoshop is critical. Finally, the designer would need to be a team player, able to manage and stick to multiple competing deadlines, and be an easy and fun colleague to work with. Ideally the person will have 3-5 years of experience in magazine design, with some experience in designing trade publications preferred.
