The Business Operations Analyst is responsible for a wide range of duties that enhance the efficiency of the Subscription Services Department.
Duties consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
Provides first level support to Subscription Services employees relating to vendor services, software, and hardware.
Work with the following technologies: SAP, Oracle Databases, EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) – SPS Commerce, ASN (Advanced Shipment Notification), SendSuite
Serves as a department liaison for DSG, Mii, SAP, SSTM, BCC, and Bolt support and applications.
Researches and provides information and insight to improve the efficiency and transactional accuracy of SAP, SAP Mii and future technological advancements.
Verifies accurate and timely completion of all SAP & Mii transactions, updating data records as appropriate to maintain data integrity.
Communicates with departmental management, supervisors, and manufacturing production coordinators regarding business systems (SAP, Mii, etc.)
Creates systems Standard Work and TWI (Training within Industry) documentation and provides training to management and employees. Coordinates with supervisors to lead system implementations, upgrades and system maintenance, and provides technical advice to resolve problems in implementation.
Supports and develops the technical skills of Subscription Services staff through one-on-one coaching, training sessions, and feedback.
Conducts post-project (systems integration or enhancement) analysis to identify cost savings. Supports development and maintenance of metrics to measure department productivity/cost control.
Develops project plans specifying goals, strategy, staffing requirements, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources. Includes cost/benefit analysis and recommendations (as applicable).
Responsible for understanding customer expectations and ensuring outbound shipments meet those expectations (working in conjunction with the Traffic Specialist).
Perform other tasks and assignments as directed.
