Job Description

YOU AND YOUR TEAM

You will be a part of Thomson Reuters, Timeseries Intraday content team and have an influence on the overall strategy of the department. You will be managing Timeseries Intraday content team of 12 analysts, responsible for maintenance of time series content on Eikon, supporting Eikon and DataScope clients and working on stock exchange related projects.

WHY IS THIS JOB IMPORTANT?

The Timeseries content is important content from key European Exchanges is of great interest to our customers. You will have a chance to interact directly with the clients, address key quality challenges, shape internal processes of the team, motivate and develop the team members.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING?

  • At least one year of experience as a people manager,
  • People management experience or experience in non-direct people management activities, like coordinating projects, mentoring junior members, building and developing team.
  • Enthusiasm and drive
  • Proven record of problem solving skills
  • Proven ability of delivering against tight deadlines and changing priorities
  • Excellent communication skills and customer focus
  • At least basic understanding of financial markets

SOME OF THE DAILY TASKS INCLUDE:

  • Managing projects and BAU resources through recruitment, workload planning, priority setting
  • Monitoring quality results and applying solutions for key issues
  • Managing the team’s internal and external clients and stakeholders ensuring relationship building while balancing the team and business priorities
  • Managing and leading the team through data, process and organizational changes to ensure continuous top performance
  • Developing the team’s market and system expertise, coaching and mentoring team members
