What you can expect
As the Onvio Accounting and OnBalance Architect, you will serve as our technical advisor and drive the definition, agreement, and implementation of our global Onvio Accounting and OnBalance technology strategy. You will serve as the go-to technologist as we develop accounting software for the global professional and small business tax & accounting market.
Key Strategic Responsibilities:
Partner with business and technology leaders across Enterprise Technology & Operations - Tax & Accounting (ETO-TA) to align application development strategy with the priorities of the ETO-TA Chief Architect
Collaborate with technology leaders across ETO-TA-Professional to ensure we are driving toward Enterprise architecture, global reuse, and consistent implementations
Lead the selection, evaluation, and implementation of current and future technology strategies
Deep understanding of current Web product technology stack and the next generation development strategy
Extensive experience working in software industries; prefer recent and relevant experience acting as a development architect
Proven track record of developing successful software products for the accounting profession and/or small businesses
Experience of developing under the ‘agile’ development methodology and ‘scrum’ process with a good understanding of testing including unit testing, integration testing, and scale testing.
Ability to facilitate and present formal presentations at the executive level and demonstrated executive presence
Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills for liaison with external customers and internal staff at all levels
Ability to work with multiple technical and business groups in a large global organization
