Job Description

TheSenior Customer Insights Analyst for the Segment Insights team will be focused on providing foundational data and personas, targeting, and analytics for our Corporate Counsel customer base.  The role is responsible for interpreting internal and third party data to find the right targets for our marketing programs as well as tracking our data validation and tele-prospecting efforts against discrete groups of organizations.  The ability to work cross-functionally with multiple marketing, operations, and analytics partners is critical for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage, evaluate, and expand existing organization and contact database for Corporate Counsel prospects and customers
  • Partner with Analytics and Operations teams to update and create reporting to track marketing efforts
  • Refine and tag organization and contact data to align with Corporate Counsel key industries and personas
  • Track internal data validation efforts of Corporate Counsel contacts in order to map against the total addressable market
  • Support new customer prospecting efforts through work with internal tele-prospecting group
  • Make recommendations for optimizing marketing programs and processes based on reporting / analysis
  • Support demand generation and retention marketing efforts for Corporate Counsel business to drive new sales and renewal revenue


Education and Experience:

  • 5-7 years of professional marketing or marketing operations experience
  • 3+ years of focus on customer targeting preferred
  • Undergraduate degree in marketing or a related field required

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proven planning and project management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively target at an organization and contact / persona level
  • Proven knowledge and ability of owning marketing and operations initiatives / projects
  • Ability to influence cross-organizational teams and partners
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to understand and work with data
  • Strong oral and written communication skills including the ability to present and communicate complex information to all levels of the organization
  • Ability to drive results within a team environment while leveraging professional relationships across a highly matrixed organization
  • Capable of leading parts of a presentation  effectively with poise, enthusiasm, and impact
  • Able to think independently and work with ambiguity
